Appropriations Law governs the "expenditure" of government funds; therefore every agency is affected and concerned with the "legality" of spending. A number of factors change Appropriations Law. Legislation has reassigned some "decision issuing" duties to The Office of Management and Budget and to The Office of Personnel Management. Additionally, the Government Accountability Office continues to issue decisions of the Comptroller General on a frequent basis, and, technology is changing the way we communicate changes and seek assistance. This one-day course is based upon presenting numerous changes to all four volumes and provides information from all four volumes. This course is designed for employees who attended the full four day Appropriations Law class two or more year ago.
